Ageing Workforce
Relevance, evidence base, and practical application were the planned key hallmarks of this major project which started on October 1 2005. This was the largest project undertaken by BOHRF to date, and our second proactive project – responding to employers' requests for evidence-based answers to practical questions.
This research of strategic and practical significance has been ongoing by Oxford University (Oxford Institute of Ageing) since October 2006. The planned deliverables have been posted on our website, and have featured in our twice yearly Newsletter.
It is with great regret that we have to advise that the research contract with Oxford University has been terminated by mutual consent.
To quote from the letter from the university’s Acting Director of Research:
“I very much regret that we have been unable to pursue this project to the satisfaction of those concerned.”
